On Thursday night January 31, 2019, at approximately 8:10 pm, Fort Myers Police Officers responded to an alert from the ShotSpotter system of gunfire that occurred at 2259 Henderson Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered three wounded individuals, one in serious condition.
Jordan Shanquilla Brown (date of birth 9/30/1989) was shot multiple times and transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Two other victims were treated for non-life-threatening wounds and released. They were identified as Jamerial Florence, a female, (date of birth 10/11/1991) and a male Darrell Niles (date of birth 2/16/1981.)
