Stranger Approaching Children

The Fort Myers Police Department has been alerted to a stranger that attempted to lure two children into her car Friday morning.

It happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. near the area of Superior Street and East Riverside Drive. The suspect is described as a thin black female with short, straight black hair and small facial features. She was driving an unknown make four door silver or gold late model car with peeling window tint. She reportedly claimed to be a security or crossing guard who knew the children and offered them a ride to school.
