Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Elect New Officers

The Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club held their installation banquet for the club’s 2018-2019 officers at the Edison Restaurant in Fort Myers. Awards were also given to club members for their support in service to the community.

The individuals that took office include:

  • Rachel Toomey as club president
  • Lindsey Lenhart as president-elect
  • Kim Berghs as secretary
  • Todd Adams as treasurer. 

Toomey is media director at Priority Marketing. Lenhart is a crime laboratory analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.Berghs is volunteer center manager at United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee. Adams is wealth manager at Wealth Planning Group.

Liz Ross, a retired accountant, will now serve as immediate-past president of the club. The 2018-2019 Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club Board of Directors are Bill Grant, Barbara Hartman, Steve Hess, Linda Parrish, Cathy Smith and Ada Trapanese.

Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club recognized members with top club honors. Lindsey Lenhart was awarded Volunteer of the Year. Rachel Toomey was awarded Kiwanian of the Year.

The Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club is looking for more service-minded individuals and business professionals who would like to make a direct impact on the community through volunteering.
