Free Ice Cream Social

Thursday:  Enjoy FREE Mayfield Creamery Moose Tracks Ice Cream to help raise $10,000 for The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry, & Glades Counties! 10,000 scoops of Mayfield Creamery Moose Tracks will be served at Centennial Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a part of the largest ice cream social around – the 10,000 Scoop Challenge. For each scoop served, Moose Tracks will donate $1 to The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry, & Glades Counties with the hopes to raise $10,000 for vital community programs.


Pet Walk

Friday:  Pet Walk is back! New location, same day, same time, same great fun! Now held at the Butterfly Estates, the Pet Walk remains every fourth Friday beginning at 6 pm. Lot’s of great pet-themed activities and a great place to explore! Located at 1815 Fowler Street, the Butterfly Estates is a gem in the River District you’ll be sure to enjoy if you’ve never been. 


Back To School Bash @ Gulf Coast Town Center

Saturday:   There will be a FREE Back To School Bash at Gulf Coast Town Center to prepared families for the 2018-2019 school year at an event filled with hands-on activities, interactive scavenger hunt, children food demos, a fun-filled sports zone and meet and greets with the best local mascots! Featured at this event from 9 am – 12 noon will be: Back To School Business Fair featuring over 20 exhibitors, Princesses and superheroes, Interactive sports and craft demonstrations, Children play areas, Free backpacks with school supplies for the first 100 children that complete the interactive scavenger hunt!


Free Indoor Movie Night

Saturday:  Celebrate your love of the game with the uproarious golf-themed classic, Caddyshack! Join Alliance for the Arts in the theatre for FREE laughs from the opening lines to the final credits. Starts at 7 pm. Tour the Smithsonian Hometown Teams: Sports in American Communities Exhibit and enjoy a night of comedy on the big screen in our theatre. Seating is first come, first serve. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. 


The BIG Backpack Event

Sunday:  The community is invited to come out for this FREE annual community event. The first 2,000 students ages 5-12 will receive free backpacks and school supplies. Free haircuts, face painting, and other giveaways will also be provided on a first come first serve basis. Entertainment and vendors will also be onsite at North Fort Myers High School from 10 am – 2 pm.
