Making weekend plans?  Check out these 5 things to do this weekend in Fort Myers:

All Aboard the “Liberty Express” at Lakes Park

Thursday thru July 4th:  Starting on Flag Day, June 14th – July 4th, stop by Lakes Park to celebrate America, at the Railroad Museum of South Florida! Hop aboard the “Liberty Express” train to view the patriotic-themed ride through the park. See how many of the 50 state flags along the ride YOU can name! The ride on the train lasts about 15 minutes traveling 1. 5 miles through the beautiful park, going through a 100-foot tunnel and over a trestle bridge. Ride from 10 am – 2 pm daily, until 4 pm on weekends.  After or before the ride, check out the train museum. The ride is $5 for ages 6 and over. Ages 1 – 5 are FREE with an adult.

Music Walk

Friday:  Enjoy great sounds during a casual evening in the Downtown Fort Myers River District! Music Walk is free to Attend.  Fun for the whole family!  Starts at 6 pm each month.

A Citizen’s Response to Active Shooter & Mass Casualty Event

Saturday:  The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to partner with the Lee County Department of Public Safety & Lee County Trauma District in a community presentation of A Citizen’s Response to Active Shooter & Mass Casualty Events. You are invited to be a part of this FREE compelling presentation at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall from 9 am – 1 pm by law enforcement experts and public safety officials designed to improve your level of preparedness should the unthinkable occur. 

Bootcamp & Brews

Saturday:  Come at 10:30 am for Bootcamp & Brews with Sphinx CrossFit at Fort Myers Brewing Co. This workout will be led by certified Crossfit coaches and scaled to all fitness levels. This class is a great way to get in a quick workout to start your Saturday, meet new friends, and win sweet prizes! We will be raffling off Sphinx and FMBrew merchandise PLUS Sphinx Crossfit has a 21 Day Challenge membership to give away to one lucky winner!
