Eggs and Ears 5k Run 2018 20th Anniversary Edition
Saturday: Eggs and Ears 5K presented by The Rotary Club of Fort Myers-Sunrise to benefit The Lakes Park Foundation is returning for it’s 20th running. This family-friendly and inclusive event starts at 7 am and is a local favorite (formerly The Do The Right Thing Eggs and Ears Race) and a great way to kick off the Easter weekend. We are excited about the race’s new location in the beautiful Lakes Regional Park in South Fort Myers. The course winds through the wooded paved trails and around serene lakes. Register here
Saturday: First Assembly Children’s Ministries in Fort Myers will be hosting a FREE Easter Egg-stravaganza event. This event will have age-appropriate egg hunts (up to 5th grade), bounce houses, a petting zoo, a rock wall, face painting, candy, food, and prizes! Classic Car Show
Saturday: Come on out to Jet Blue Park and check out this Classic Car Show. $10.00 Admission, Free Parking. Benefits United Cerebral Palsy of SWFL. The Detail Freaks will be there doing a wipe down service for entrants. We will also have a raffle for $499.00 paint protection service.
Springfest at Zoomers
Saturday: It’s the annual Springfest at Zoomers! $20 wristbands all day! Starting at noon, enjoy Games, Arts & Crafts, and Raffles. Egg hunt at 1 pm and 5 pm. Fun for all ages! From 12 noon to 6 pm.
Easter Dog Parade
Sunday: Hip-pity hop-pity… The Easter Dog Parade is on its Way! Put on your Easter bonnet, dress up your dog, and come celebrate the day at Fleamasters Fleamarket. Fleamasters’ first ever Easter Dog Parade will take place at 1:30 pm. Each person who brings their dog may register to win an Easter basket packed with treats, including $100 flea dollars to spend in the market. Push your dog in a stroller or bring on a leash for a leisurely walk through the market. The Calendar Girls Dance Group and the Easter Bunny will come along to add to the festivities.
