SoCo Second Saturday Art Crawl
Saturday: The SoCo Second Saturday Art Crawl returns in 2018! This year, the event will be better than ever, with special programs such as ChalkWalk, hosted by the Union Artist Studios in the Alliance for the Arts campus. Artists from SWFL and other parts of the United States will create amazing artworks in chalk all day, then present and mingle during the evening. In addition, there are 11 venues hosting everything from art openings to live music, performances and more. SoCo Second Saturday Art Crawl happens every month, rain or shine. This event is family oriented and focused on bringing more awareness and support to the arts and culture of our city. More information about the event is available at www.socoswfl.com. This is a FREE event.
Saturday: FREE to attend, thousands of bikes will line the streets of historic downtown for Bike Night, great quality vendors will be throughout, and three stages of live music will all be part of another great Downtown Fort Myers Bike Night. No registration or fee required for bikes.
Sunday: Now in our fourth year of jamming to toe-tapping bluegrass standards, ballads, and gospel tunes, Calusa Nature Center’s Bluegrass Jam plays something for everyone. The group is dedicated to playing bluegrass and sharing it with others. And that means Sunday Bluegrass Jams on the Back Porch are back! Sundays from 1 – 3:00 pm, bring your bluegrass instruments and your bluegrass tunes (or just your bluegrass heart, to listen) and come to the porch for the Sunday Bluegrass Jam organized (loosely) by local bluegrass musicians. This event is FREE with your $10 general admission to Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium
