27th Annual Christmas Keyboard Festival
Friday – Sunday: Friday @ 7 PM, Saturday @ 3 PM & 7 PM, Sunday @ 3 PM & 7 PM. Don’t miss the 27th Annual Christmas Keyboard Festival, an exciting musical celebration for the whole family! Along with the 4 grand pianos and our own 100-Voice Choir and Orchestra, this year’s celebration will feature the powerhouse vocals of Veritas and the Grammy-nominated flute stylings of José Valentino. Holiday Extravaganza & Tree Lighting at Bell Tower Shops!
Friday: Bell Tower Shops will kick off the holiday season with a special tree lighting event from 6 to 8 p.m. at Center Court. Southwest Florida families are invited to an evening filled with holiday spirit featuring caroling by the Fort Myers Housing Association Youth Choir and a special visit from Santa Claus, as well as a variety of activities in Center Court for guests of all ages to enjoy. Santa Claus will arrive to Bell Tower Shops at 7 p.m. in a South Trail Fire Department fire truck at the main entrance. Following his arrival, the festivities will commence in Center Court with a special tree lighting ceremony and a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, ideal for holiday photo opportunities. Filled with holiday cheer and decor, center court will also feature a bounce house, face painting and holiday games and activities.
Santa’s Block Party
Saturday: Santa is making a special stop in downtown Fort Myers on Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm! See Santa ride down First Street in a fire truck before he stops to meet and greet kids of all ages. Join in the fun and make arts, crafts, and holiday cards during Brunch with Santa! Stop by the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center for a last look at the Festival of Trees before it ends on December 3rd. Santa’s Block Party is sure to be the best family-friendly holiday party in town! The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First St. in the historic downtown Fort Myers River District. 29th Annual Christmas Boat Parade
Saturday: Come enjoy some Christmas spirit at the 29th Annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade! Last year we had over 30 boats participating and this year promises to be even more exciting. The parade is FREE to watch and begins at Salty Sam’s Marina at 6 pm and will pass by such establishments as Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellies, Doc Fords, Dixie Fish Co., Shrimp Dock, and Bonita Bills where you can kick back and enjoy the fun. Cost is $25 per boat and $50 for a sponsored boat. This event is brought to you by the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Trek Poker Ride
Sunday: This cycling event is not a race, but does add a fun and competitive element. The winning hand of a blackjack or poker hand wins $500 in prizes! There are two options: a 40-mile blackjack route and an 80-mile option “poker” route. And it is for a good cause! 100% of your entry fee (minus Active.com charge) will go to the local United Way. There will be two different start times so everyone gets back to Ft. Myers around the same time to pick the winning hands! Online Registration: www.active.com/
