The Southwest Florida Community Foundation has joined forces to create giving funds to help those enduring the effects of flooding and those displaced due to Hurricane Harvey.

Established in partnership with the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties, Lee County Emergency Management and Lee County Human Services, along with the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, the Southwest Florida Community Foundation has opened the Southwest Florida Flood Relief Fund.

All of the funds donated through the Southwest Florida Community Foundation will be used by the United Way to provide emergency funds to directly help people displaced from their homes and those suffering loss due to the floods.
